Africa is the continent with the largest number of countries in the world. Africa has 54 countries in it. An African safari is a must do for the wildlife lover or just to see that place like this exists on our planet.
When I first saw the Masai Mara, I could not believe that a place like this exists. Flat land as far as the eye can see full of grass. The animals are just grazing, and you suddenly chance up on them. It surprises you. You are not ready for it and ask where did they come from? The lion, the cheetah, the hippo, elephants, zebras, gazelles, impalas, vultures, hyenas, flamingos, buffalos, giraffes just coexisting. Yes, just like in The Lion King. It’s true. A complete ecosystem, migrations back and forth between the Serengeti and the Mara every year on the clock. It’s the circle of life and Hakuna Matata is not just a song but a way of life.
I have been there a few and times and will go back. I am sharing a few photos from my trips there. It was wild to see the animals in their natural habitats.
You will see all emotions here. Mothers love, the hunter and the hunted, the lazy and the always alert. All mixed in not far from each other.
Photographing these creatures is a different ball game. First its luck. You need to be able to get to see the animal. Then you need to get the right light or the right moment and be lucky capture it correctly. Your breath stops and hopefully the camera correctly captures what you see. When it happens its magical.
I hope these photos inspire you to travel and see our beautiful planet.
